KeyEye Joins Newly Formed Ethernet Alliance for Support of the Advancement of All IEEE 802 Ethernet Standard

 

March 28, 2006 KeyEye Communications, a provider of 10 gigabit per-
second copper media transceivers, announced its role as a Participating Member of the Ethernet Alliance, an industry group dedicated to the continued success and expansion of Ethernet technology. Ethernet Alliance member companies work to help accelerate the industry adoption of 10 Gigabit Ethernet networking by providing cost-effective structured copper cabling solutions for data centers.  KeyEye helps provide data centers with dramatic cost and power savings by providing single chip transceivers that deliver 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds using commonly available structured copper cabling.  KeyEye joins the founding members of the Ethernet Alliance, which include 3Com, ADC, Agere Systems, AMCC, Aquantia, Broadcom, Force10 Networks, Foundry Networks, Intel, Lawrence Berkeley Labs, Pioneer Corporation, Quake Technologies, Samsung, Sun Microsystems, Tehuti Networks, Tyco Electronics, The University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL), and Xilinx.
