June 20, 2006 – Packet Design, a pioneer in the field of route analytics, named Constantinos Bassias as vice president of engineering.  Prior to Packet Design, Bassias was at C-COR, Inc., which he joined through its acquisition of Lantern Communications.  Previously, he held senior engineering and management positions at Chantry Networks, Motorola, Memotec Communications, Nortel Networks and Lockheed-Martin Canada. Packet Design, Inc., pioneered the field of route analytics and is a leading supplier of network appliances that provide routing-layer visibility into IP networks. The company's flagship products are Route Explorer and Traffic Explorer.
