February 6, 2006 – Scintera, Inc., the developer of industry leading Gigabit Signal Processor (GSP) semiconductor solutions for 10 Gigabit Ethernet LRM and other high-speed communications markets, has named Arthur Reidel as Chief Executive Officer.  Scintera’s founding CEO, Abhijit Phanse, continues as president and assumes the new role of Chief Operating Officer.  Prior to joining Scientera, Reidel was a venture partner with Lightspeed Venture Partners.  Prior to this, he was co-founder and CEO of Pharsight. Reidel has held executive positions with multiple companies including Viewlogic Systems, Inc., Sunrise Test Systems, Inc. and Weitek Corporation.  Scintera, Inc. is a fabless semiconductor company specializing in products that empower multi-gigabit communication and networking systems.
