August 31, 2006 - Tzero Technologies, a leading innovator in ultra wideband, appointed Tzoyao Chan (T. Chan) Ph.D. to the position of senior vice president of engineering. Chan will be responsible for the development and productization of Tzero solutions targeting the rapidly growing market for wireless solutions capable of handling the most demanding applications.  Chan brings Tzero 25 years of experience in semiconductor engineering in the PC and consumer electronics markets. Prior to Tzero, Chan held senior management and engineering roles at:  Genesis Microchip, Cirrus Logic, Bell Labs (now Lucent Technology), Intel Corp, LSI Logic, Chips and Technologies, and S3. Chan holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Arizona in electrical engineering and owns 11 U.S. patents. Tzero Technologies is an IC supplier that enables broadcast quality video over wireless networks.
