September 21 2006 — Vocera Communications, a wireless communications company providing instant voice communication for mobile personnel, won the
2006 Communications News Editor's Award for its system installed as part of the Royal Belfast Hospital for Sick Children’s (RBHSC) new wireless voice and data infrastructure. The Vocera system also contributed to the RBHSC receiving the 2006 Communications News’ Best Wireless Project Award for innovative wireless deployment and the Outstanding Achievement Award given to the best nominee in any category.
