John E. Osborne runs the East Coast Operations for Essential Solutions, splitting his time between corporate offices near Pittsburgh, PA and Boston, MA.

John has eight years of CEO and vice president retained search experience and 25 years high technology company management experience. Prior to joining Essential Solutions in 2004, John spent five years as an executive recruiter with Devine & Virnig. John’s high-tech experience includes 15 years with Apple Computer, where he held director level positions in sales, marketing, and business development, and ultimately was Senior Director of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Apple's Server Division. John also spent ten years with IBM in a variety of sales and marketing management positions. John graduated summa cum laude with a BA degree in Economics and Mathematics from Bethany College. He also holds a Master's degree in Industrial Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an SEP degree from Stanford University.
