April 7, 2005 – Aperto Networks, developer of advanced WiMAX base stations and subscriber units, announced the appointment of Bill Waters as its senior vice president of worldwide sales.  Waters brings Aperto over 23 years of experience in leading sales teams, developing successful sales strategies and selling carrier solutions.  Prior to joining Aperto, Waters served as: vice president of global sales for Bay Packets; general manager and senior vice president of sales for Terayon’s telecom carrier solutions group; senior vice president of sales and business development at Mainsail Networks; vice president of worldwide sales and support at Vina Technologies; vice president of global sales at Telco Systems; and various executive sales management positions at Racal Datacom and DCA/Cohesive.
