October 17, 2005 – Aperto Networks, developer of advanced WiMAX base stations and subscriber units, has appointed Glenn Tamaru as vice president of operations. Tamaru brings over 25 years of operations experience with technology companies including: Ascend/Lucent, Bay Networks/Nortel and Solectron.  He was most recently vice president of operations at GoDigital Networks.  Aperto Networks helps leading service providers deliver affordable wireless voice and broadband by building advanced WiMAX base stations and subscriber units.
