February 27, 2007 – Kineto Wireless and InterDigital Communications Corporation today announced the closing of a $10 million round of funding for Kineto Wireless, a key innovator and supplier of UMA technology. InterDigital led the funding round. Existing Kineto investors also participating in the round were: Sutter Hill Ventures, Venrock Associates, 3i, Oak Investment Partners, SeaPoint Ventures, and Storm Ventures. Kineto Wireless is a key innovator and leading supplier of Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) Technology, the 3GPP standard for fixed/mobile convergence.
