December 2005 – SOMA Networks, Inc., a leading provider of mobile WiMAX technology, has named Robert Pavlak as Vice President of Engineering.  Pavlak brings over 20 years of Internet, cellular and telecommunications engineering experience. Prior to joining SOMA Networks, Pavlak held senior engineering and management positions at Megisto Systems, Level 3 Communications and Bell Laboratories, both with Lucent Technologies and the former AT&T. SOMA Networks provides a converged all-IP Multimedia Applications Platform, including base stations and non-line-of-sight subscriber gateways.
