April 2007 – Tumri, an integrated merchandising and advertising network, has selected Sandeep Nawathe, as Vice President of Engineering. Sandeep brings twenty years of technology and management expertise to Tumri with leadership experience as a technologist and an entrepreneur. Prior to joining Tumri, Sandeep co-founded and led engineering and technology at Full Degree/Amphire. Prior to Full Degree, Sandeep founded StarPoint, Inc. (which later became part of CMGI/AdForce), an ad-serving company delivering over a billion transactions a day. Before CMGI/AdForce, Sandeep led a large team of engineers in systems design, project management, and release coordination at Verity, Inc. Sandeep also founded Omkar Software, an engineering consulting company. Tumri allows publishers, large and small, to monetize their sites with a next generation interactive ad unit, the AdPod, supported by an extensive network of major advertisers and merchandisers.
