October 19, 2005 – Vernier Networks, a leading provider of Network Access Control products, was ranked sixth on  the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star by Deloitte & Touche LLP. Deloitte selects the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Silicon Valley based on percentage revenue growth during a five-year span.  To qualify for the Technology Fast 50 Rising Star category, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 2002 and $1,000,000 in 2004, be headquartered in Silicon Valley, and be a “technology company,” defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company's operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology.  Vernier Networks delivers Network Access Control products that are designed to ensure network compliance.
